Our two lovely properties are both a few minutes' walk from the centre of Blairgowrie. Each sleeps four in two bedrooms and have their own off street parking.
A neatly converted former coach house now sleeping four in a king size bedroom and a twin with two singles, Riverlea also offers a large sitting room, fully equipped kitchen with dining table and off street parking. There is a small garden area with charcoal barbeque available.
As the name suggests, the property used to be a Scout Hall until it was converted around 2005. Sleeping four in a king sized room and a second room with double and single beds, The Old Scout Hall also offers a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room and has an off street parking space.
Blairgowrie is at the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park and the Snow Roads, Scotland's highest roads, from which you can enjoy the magnificent Scottish scenery and keep an eye out for the wonderful wildlife. There are a host of championship golf courses close by and of course the salmon and trout fishing is first class. And the rest of Scotland is accessible on day trips.
Guided wildlife tours are available and exclusive use of a wildlife hide through Nature Nuts, run by Bob Smith. We offer a discount for Nature Nuts clients - apply code NN20 when you book.
We stayed there for a few nights. The room was very very clean, elegant and charming. Breakfast was so tasty. The hosts are super friendly and very welcoming. The house is located in a beautiful quiet area and sitting out in the garden in the evening was one of the loveliest memories for me.
We stayed here when going to a relatives wedding. Our hosts could not have done more to help us feel more welcome. We even used their silver polish! We loved the home made bread at breakfast and fresh fruit etc. We had a great meal within 10 mins walk along the delightful river path.
One night stay during a cycling trip. Welcomed on the doorstep by the hosts and provided with a refreshing cup of tea, plus storage for bikes. The room and communal areas of the house felt spacious and bright, with wonderful original artworks displayed on every wall.
I was made most welcome, the owners were very helpful and hospitable and received a very friendly welcome, the newly refurbished room was clean, bright and warm. Plush towels and thick duvets. Breakfast - great choice, good food and plentiful supply of coffee and juice!
We had a short stay - 4 nights duration. Coach House is a charming place with lots of character and wonderful proprietors. The room was spacious - comfortable bed with high quality bedding. Bathroom is modern and functional with some toiletries provided.
